Mongrel was created back in 2004

Co-founders - Amy Bowen and Tudor Lloyd- Kerry

Schooled in the disciplines of Art and Environmental Technology and heavily influenced by the evocative graphics of the punk era, the iconic slogan t-shirts of the late 80's and the ironic slogan
t-shirts of the 90's.

The logical progression was to buy some blank organic t-shirts, a screen printing machine, and get to work.

Over time our brainchild grew and it was time to give it more freedom and responsibility. It was time to move into cut and sew.

We decided to stop buying in the ready-made tees.
We wanted to get our own stuff made.
Our cut, our colours, our fabric, our way. So that's what we did.
We thought it would be nice to have them made in Britain.
So we did that too.
