We believe that if a job's worth doing, it's worth doing well. Environmentally friendly print The water based inks we use for printing our t-shirts do not contain PVC or phthalates and are much more environmentally friendly than standard inks. Our inks do not contain any toxic chemicals at all. They're formulated free from lead and other heavy metals and have passed the Oekotex Class 1 standard. Our inks do not contain CFC's or HCFC's, aromatic hydrocarbons or any volatile solvents. We still have a huge choice of colours including metallics and fluorescents. And you don't need solvents to clean the screens down after they've been used. You can just clean them with water. Labelling We work with a small family-run label manufacturer. They're based in Wales and have over fifty years of experience. We could get our labels made abroad for a fraction of the price but we don't think it's worth it. Packaging We don't believe in overpackaging but we do want your parcel to arrive in style. That's why your goods will be wrapped up nicely in recycled tissue paper and popped into a Biothene® bag. Degradamailer bags are made from recycled film and Biothene®, manufactured here in the UK. They are reusable and recyclable and after use degrade into a non-toxic residue, carbon dioxide and water in a little over 18 months. |
